ABOUT THE SUNDAY DRIVE
For as long as he can recall, Mark Perleberg has had a love affair with automobiles. At the age of twelve, he began working at the family's car dealership in Wisconsin, which led to an opportunity to work as a technician for a Formula Atlantic race team that was venturing to Long Beach, California for the Grand Prix. After several years of working for car dealers, he started Orange Coast Auto Sales, a full service exotic car dealership in Mission Viejo, California.
Mark got his first taste of the media industry working with Road and Track Magazine driving cars for the photo shoots. He went on to become Collector Car Editor for Kelley Blue Book and then lead automotive expert for N.A.D.A. Appraisal Guides and NADAguides.com. Mark has worked directly with most of the major publications in the country and traveled the world covering auto shows, racing and industry events. He was also the co-host for Car and Driver Radio, Road and Track Radio and Motor Trend Radio, a show he still sits in from time-to-time.
